| The
PAC is organised into Regional Associations (RAs), usually centred
on a town or borough. The RA's have a varied membership of both experienced and
inexperienced anglers. Each RA holds regular very informal and sociable meetings
to discuss piking. Special trips and events may also be arranged, mainly to benefit
new members. Your Local RA is the place to get a great start for your pike fishing. |
| You
also have the chance to attend the annual Pike Anglers Club Convention
at a discounted rate. This is a major event which attracts pike anglers from all
over the country. There are presentations by some of the best known pike anglers
from the UK and abroad, the tackle trade is always well represented, (this year sees Grey's launch their brand New range of Pike tackle at the Convention), there are
competitions, a second hand stall, and all manner of other attractions. It is
the pike angling event of the year and is not to be missed, we hope to see you
there.
|
| The
PAC holds privileged access/charity events on prestigious
waters such as Llandegfedd Reservoir in Wales and The Lake of Menteith in Scotland
to name but two. |
| The
PAC has its own unique range of top quality products,
including clothing, badges and other items, not forgetting back-issues of Pikelines. |
| As
well as having its social side, the PAC is an active
organisation working to protect pike, pike fishing and pike anglers' rights through
initiatives such as the Pike in your Waters
booklet, the Pikemark scheme for frozen baits and contact
with other bodies such as the Angling Trust and the Environment Agency. |
| ALL
of the PAC's exclusive events, publications and products are advertised in our
professionally produced quarterly magazine Pikelines - which alone is worth the price of
the annual subscription! |
| Can
you afford to miss out on all of this? |
